Just wanted to post a few recent pictures of a variety of daily activities in which my boys enjoy currently. Abraham really digs Fridays, which are our official "Arts and Crafts Projects." This is the day in which we focus mainly on doing creative, fun projects, also cleaning up around the house, going to library, and other odds and ends. The boys look forward also to their "Friday prize" which is a reward for a week of good work/learning/academics at home. This prize is a variety of things currently. Sometimes, I pre-order items, such as small, mini books from Dover Publishing on a variety of topic or fun items. Sometimes, it's a Hot Wheel. Sometimes, I give them a dollar and let them spend it at the Dollar General or at Fred's. (They really enjoy doing that!)

Abraham and Micah have both recently enrolled in Taekwando at our YMCA here. They are really enjoying it so far. Micah has one 30-min class a week and Abraham has two 1-hour classes per week, so it works out well for us time-wise as well. I am not a big fan of being too "busy" with extra-curricular activities for my children, just a few pursuits that we feel will be both beneficial and fun in the big picture of things.

Below are some pics from our daily life. One of Micah's favorite activities is having a daily computer time. He puts his headphones on while I do math and reading lessons with Abraham, and he has a blast! He especially enjoys PBS Kids and Starfall, and learns a lot in the process! Oh, I almost forgot the artwork!

Every morning at breakfast, we read our "The Bible In Pictures for Little Eyes" devotional book. After I read the page, Abraham takes a turn reading, and then after breakfast, they each draw a picture of what we talked about that particular day, and they write a sentence about it (or word in Micah's case). Below is some beautiful artistry they created. Enjoy!
