I recently heard on the radio of a ministry called Christian Resources International that has a program entitled Bare Your Bookshelf. This program allows you to send Bibles and other Christian books or materials you may have in your home to pastors in foreign countries where it is very difficult or even impossible to get or buy a Bible.
Please take a moment and go to their website. This is something we all can do, as the average American has nine Bibles in his/her home. That is more than enough to give to those who desperately desire God's Word! You can sign a short form online, and they will send you a pre-addressed envelope that you will then mail to the pastor/person yourself. The return address is the ministry's, the shipping cost is only $11 and the package can weigh up to 4 lbs.
