Abraham celebrated his 7th birthday on Monday. He really wanted to go to Chuckie Cheese, so even though I like old Chuck's about as much as I like root canals, I caved to his birthday request, and we made the trek to Clarksville to visit Chuckie. What made it even more exciting was that it was President's Day and school was out! So, other parents apparently had the same idea, and it was jam packed with excitement, I tell you! But, Abraham had a BLAST, and that's all that mattered. Three of his friends went with us, along with one mom, my dear friend Brooke. Thanks for going with us, Brooke! You made it totally bearable!!!
Abraham's friend Jeremiah stayed the night with us as well. They stayed up late and watched the infamous Davy Crockett movie, which Abraham got for a present. (He is a big Davy Crockett fan!) All in all, it was a fun day, and I am so thankful for my firstborn son. He is full of life and vigor! He is such a strong-willed child, and he challenges me daily, but I wouldn't change who God made him for the world! I love you, my sweet son!
