Today has been a special day. It was a day that I got to spend with my son Micah one-on-one. These days don't happen frequently, when I get to spend time with just one of my sons alone, so I am relishing in it. Abraham and Nami have gone to Atlanta for a quick visit and will be back tomorrow night, so it's just been the two of us. Micah was so excited this morning to just be with me, that he was a little clueless as to what to do! First thing when he got up, he said, "Will you read me a book?" So, we proceeded to sit on the couch in our pajamas and read, which is not in our usual routine, but it was so sweet.
Later, out of the blue, Micah asks me who he is going to marry. He was really concerned about this issue, and I kept trying to explain to him that the Lord has the perfect girl for him one day...a long way away! A few hours later, he came in and asked, "Mom, can I marry you when I grow up?" I felt the flush in my face and my heart almost burst. What a beautiful thing to say from such a sweet little boy. I was very honored by that comment.
Well, it is getting late, and I went and rented a movie to watch entitled "Daddy's Little Girls." The outside case looked promising, so we shall see. A quiet night at home with my cute little prince tucked away in his bed for the night. Sweet dreams!
