Dear Friends and Family,
As some of you all already aware, Nami and I have begun the process of adoption in our family. For several years now, we have had a desire in our hearts that one day we would like to adopt. Well, the time has finally come where we have taken the initial steps toward fulfilling this plan that we believe God has for our lives.
Through the Lord's leading, we plan to adopt a little girl from Liberia, Africa. We feel she will be an infant or toddler, but have no idea as of yet. We plan to work directly with a Christian-based orphanage in Liberia called Acres of Hope (www.acresofhope.org) We are currently working with Kentucky Adoption Services to complete our homestudy and dossier requirements which must be done prior to obtaining a referral from the orphanage.
We would like to ask each of you for your prayers for us during this time. We appreciate so much the prayers and know that God honors the fervent prayers of ther righteous. We ask you to pray for our little girl, for her health, safety, and provision, as well as our ability to get all the paperwork and other processes done. Please pray for our strength to not waiver or fail during this time.
If the Lord places a desire in your heart to give financially to us in order to help us bring our little girl to this country and to our home, we certainly thank you and pray the Lord will return it to you 100 fold in blessings. We will place this donation 100% in our savings account specifically for the adoption fees.
