Well, the countdown until Saturday has begun. I am a fruit-loop trying to think about and plan this trip. All the things to bring, all the arrangements to make, ya da ya da!! But, oh it is so worth it all. SHE is so worth it all! Following the Lord's ways is so worth it all! His ways are higher, and so are His thoughts.
Just wanted to share this lovely artwork by Abraham and Micah. Micah's picture (under Abraham's) includes the two of them as "supermen" and then little Ellie flying along as well! It has been such a blessing how our sons have been warming to the idea of Ellie for many months, and now, they are praying for her, talking about her, drawing pictures of her. I am so thankful to the Lord for that. Micah, my youngest, seems to be having a little "baby-like" behavior, such as wanting to be held more, a little bit of baby talking, etc. I think he just subconciously needs reassurance and affirmation. I'm not too concerned about that.
Below are more pictures. Ellie's room is getting ready, although I don't know when she will actually want to sleep in this bed! Also, Mr. Rabbit and Pumpkin the Kitty are anxiously waiting for her arrival as well!
