Sent The Acres of Hope Application...Cavity-Free Too!

I wanted to post tonight that we have finally sent in our application packet to Acres of Hope! We don't have every piece of required documents, but we have most of it together. I am very excited to have gotten this in the mail today. Every day is one step closer, and I am so thankful that we have this opportunity to follow the Lord in this way.

Another piece of good news was...Abraham's first visit to the dentist went well. He was so calm, and I was a proud mom. He had no cavities! Yay! My friend Edy later told me about her neighbor's 6 year old son coming home from the dentist with the awful report of 9 cavities! I could not believe this! Anyway, the dentist did say we need to watch his two bottom teeth, as they are crowding in on one another, and the top front tooth is rather large. If the other one is that large, we will have a problem! Mayday, braces look out!

Oh well, I am thankful for a wonderful day of sending off paperwork for our child across the seas and for spending my day with my cavity-free boys here at home. Blessings to you all this evening.

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
