Visit to Eastern Kentucky

Just wanted to share some pictures with you from my trip to my sister and brother-in-law's house in Irvine, KY. It was absolutely beautiful there, with the autumn leaves bursting with color in the mountains. We so enjoyed our time together with them and our sweet Lily and Wesley. We attended a cookout which some of their church members have each year atop of a mountain. The scenery was just spectacular. We also enjoyed time at a park in Richmond which was very well kept and a blessing to that community.

More important than the beauty of the place and the entertainment and hospitality we received was the genuine fellowship we had with each other while there. It was priceless to me. We talked until late into the night, or should I say into the wee hours of the morning? We explored issues from creation to Constantine, chanting to parading in the streets for the Lord! Thank you guys! It was truly an awesome time!

Here are some wonderful pictures my sister took of our time together, as well as a few taken by James at the park. There are more at the bottom of the blog page! Enjoy the beauty!

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
