A Welcome Visit From Grandmother

This past week, Nami's mother came to spend the night with us. We were so excited and happy that she decided to come, as this was her first visit to see us in our home since we have been married. Needless to say, we were very thankful that she did.

Our sons were joyful that she was here. They played in the front yard, running around shouting, "Watch me, Grandmother!" She would then clap for them each time they did something. It was precious.

Her name is Ezat, which I think is a beautiful name, and she is originally from Iran. Nami's family came to the U.S. during the Revolution in the mid 1980's and have resided here since then in Georgia. I am truly thankful that she visited us in our home. I so enjoyed talking with her and love to hear about her country and what it is like there. I pray there will be many more special times together to come...

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
