Last Sunday was an exciting day. Abraham was baptized! Both he and Micah had been saying for quite some time that they wanted to be. So, Nami was able to baptize him, as our pastor believes in allowing the father's to baptize their own children and even their own wives. It was very sweet. Micah became too scared and decided he didn't want to be in front "of all those people." So, we told him it was totally fine, and he could do it another time, or even when it was only us if he wanted to!

On another Abraham note, I was walking past my front window last week, and I happened to see the ladder going by in my front yard! I looked again, and there was Abraham dragging the big ladder, struggling to pull it through the grass. I opened the door and peered out and gingerly asked, "What are you doing?" Abraham's reply was, "I want to climb a tree, Mom." What could I say? "Okay, need help?" So, I went out and held the ladder steady while we chose a suitable tree. I had to hold the ladder at a certain angle for him to make it up, but when he did, he was so excited. He is such an adventurer at heart! What a character he is! When he was up there, so proud and triumphant, he looked at me with wide eyes and silently said, "How am I gonna get down?" It was priceless.
