Cave City Trip!

During the week of Fall Break, Nami planned a short, surprise trip for us. We went to Cave City, KY and had a really great time together as a family. It was a special time. Pictures below are taken at Diamond Caverns, Dinosaur World, The Wildlife Museum and Jesse James Fun Park.

We enjoyed ourselves so much, although Micah was less than excited about going down into the abyss which was called Diamond Caverns. Approximately 1 minute after beginning the descent into the cave, Micah said, "I'm ready to go!" Alas, Mommy silently agreed! Nonetheless, it was quite interesting, in a clostrophobic sort of way. Micah was not impressed. Abraham, on the other hand, was at the head of the line by the tour guide the entire time. What an Indiana Jones he is! Ellie was just along for the ride in Daddy's arms.

At the Wildlife Museum, Micah explained, "These animals are real, but they are dead. They're like statues, except they are real. Somebody just shot them." Astute! Abraham was excited by the ski lift and the alpine slide. Micah loved putt putt. Mom and Dad just strolled along. It was great!

It was beautiful weather, but even more importantly, we made memories with our children to last a lifetime! Thank you for taking us on this fun trip, Nami! I love you! You are the best husband ever!

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
