Another Fun Field Trip!

On Friday, I went with Abraham's first grade class on a field trip to the Nashville Zoo. We had a great day together, just mother and son. I truly cherish these times that I get to spend one-on-one with my children. They are so priceless to me. What was even sweeter is that Abraham so enjoyed us being together as well, he wasn't even concerned about his little buddies. As we were walking into the zoo, he said, "We don't have to stay with all the kids. We can just go on our own!" He even wanted to sit next to me on the bus.

It chokes me up just thinking about it. Ah, anyway, (sniff sniff) here are the pics of our day. The first is Abraham with his wonderful teacher, Mrs. Waldron. She's awesome!

I know Belina personally and I can tell you that he has one of THE best teachers at Heritage. She is a personal friend of mine. He is very blessed to have her! I am really glad to know that everything is working out for you and your family and your decision to put your kinds in school! They really look like they are having a great time.

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
