Key Verse:
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Matthew 24:12-13
Holy Father, I come to you in prayer and intercession on behalf of myself and all the saints today. I pray that our love will not grow cold toward you. My heart cries within me today, and a holy fear arises in me. Let us not grow cold or weary, but let us become more fervent and zealous for you and for your kingdom. May we be hot for you, pursuing you as the deer pants for the water.
Heavenly Father, I ask you in Jesus name, that if there is anyone who may be reading this, Lord, and their love has grown cold for you, please send the Holy Spirit's conviction and draw them to you today once again. Father, I pray that we not be counted as one of the "many", but that we be that remnant who loves you passionately as you so deserve. Take away the apathy from our hearts and minds. We humble ourselves before your throne today and ask for your mercy and forgiveness. We thank you that you are faithful and just to forgive us and to restore us.
I pray for myself, my family, my city, my nation, for all the body of Christ, the church today. Father, bind this spirit of slumber, apathy, materialism, and gluttony from our lives, O God. I call upon you in the wonderful name, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Yeshua, Lord Jesus. Draw us, Lord, and set us on continual fire for you. In the name of your Son, Jesus, Amen.
