But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Micah 5:2
Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name. I am so thankful to you for coming to earth in your Son Jesus, Yeshua. I am so thankful that out of tiny Bethlehem, He was born in obscurity, in poverty, in such a humble way. What a beautiful and amazingly perfect thing you did, Wonderful Father! What heart cannot relate, cannot feel the love you have poured out through your Son, the Messiah, the Anointed One? You came, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, as a helpless baby, entrusting yourself to Mary, a young virgin mother. I am overwhelmed. You truly are Emmanuel, "God with us."
Thank you for the best and by far greatest gift that was ever given to mankind...Jesus the Messiah. I lift up your name, Jesus, so that you may draw all men unto you. I pray and ask you that every person reading this blog would receive a glimpse, a taste, even an overwhelming sense of your Presence, of your Spirit, of your divine Love, of your mercy, grace and goodness. I lift up every one of these to your throne right now and ask you to pour out your Spirit of wisdom, revelation, and power upon them. I pray that they would be hungry and desperate for you. I pray they will each experience you and know you in this coming year as never before.
I pray that the faith of your people would increase, would be stirred up. I pray for those who have yet to believe upon the name of Jesus right now. I pray that you would protect them from death and harm, I pray your mercy over them and for your salvation to come unto them, that the eyes of their heart would be opened by your Spirit. I pray and ask you in Jesus' name to deliver them from the evil one, to lead them in the paths of righteousness, to lead them to repentance, and to bless them with the gift of You.
I ask you to bless, cover and protect each and every one. Be close to us, O Lord. We draw near to you, our Emmanuel. We thank you for coming to this world to save that which was lost, to save your people from their sins. In the name of Jesus, the name of salvation, Amen.
