My Unremarkable Gallbladder

Last Monday, I was scheduled for an ultrasound on my gallbladder. As some of you may know, when I contracted Hepatitis A a couple of months ago, the docs found that my gallbladder was also very inflamed. They initially wanted to do surgery, yet through the grace and intervention of the Lord, the surgeon decided to wait to see how the hepatitis panned out. He told me that he couldn't sleep one night when I was in the hospital, and he got up and surfed the internet for my case. He found 3 cases of an inflamed gallbladder with people who had Hep A. 2 out of 3 were fine without surgery, but it was extremely rare event to happen. Go figure!

Anyway, to make a long story a little shorter, I went for my repeat ultrasound to see how ol' Mr. Gall was doing. The ultrasound technician was the same one who had seen me when I was very sick. As she examined me, she was amazed. She said, "I can certainly tell you that your gallbladder looks much improved." She then revealed something I thought was amazing. She said that the day she looked at my gallbladder, it wasn't even recognizable as a gallbladder. She had NEVER seen a gallbladder in as bad a shape in her 20 years as a tech!

Are you ready? When I got a call from the doctor's nurse reporting my results, her comment was, "The report reads 'unremarkable gallbladder, completely normal." This is my testimony, one of many of God's healing power. I give Him praise and thanks, and I pray He will receive much glory and your faith will be strengthened to believe for any and every impossibility. Believe the report of the Lord!

"They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint."

The Lord gave me this verse while lying extremely ill in the hospital bed. It was all I could do to whisper it to myself, but I clung to it. I felt like I was walking through the shadow of death, and I believe I was, but my Lord renewed me and healed me. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

I don't know you, but I stumbled on your blog when searching for the book about the 4-A's. After reading that, I went and saw the rest of your blog. Your faith is inspirational. How awesome for your latest praise report! I hope I can keep reading your blog, and maybe you'll come read mine some time! (I also have a son named Micah ;) ) Thanks for letting me have a snapshot into your world today! I enjoyed reading.

It doesn't take monumental feats to make the world a better place. It can be as simple as letting someone go ahead of you in a grocery line.
