Last Thursday, Nami dug the tree out of its crypt in the garage attic and discovered that one of its legs was missing. That figures! Anyway, Abraham exclaimed, "That's okay! We can prop it up!" So, prop it we did...in the corner of the room. We were concerned that the cats would destroy it with their usual frolicking, but so far so good! The boys had such a good time decorating the tree. As you can see, the tree is far from "balanced" to the eye, but I was and still am determined not to touch so much as ONE ornament on that tree in order to place it in a better spot. I left the ornaments exactly where they were hung, as a way to tell my boys that the way they decorate is sufficient and good. I LOVE all the ornaments dangling at the bottom, clumped together. (You can guess which of the two hung those there!) It is just perfect, a beautiful symbol of togetherness and acceptance within a family. I especially like the last picture, where the boys are displaying their work with a pose of "TADA!" Enjoy!
