Today, my hubby and Micah and I were dancing to the 80's in the living room of our home. Yes, we looked quite goofy and probably even the fly on the wall was laughing hysterically, but it sent me wandering joyfully down memory lane. I thought of all the hours I spent with my record player playing 45's and singing, dancing and DJ'ing in my room. Those are sweet memories. So, I thought I would honor all of you X-generationer friends by compiling a music list on my Playlist just for you today.
Take a few minutes to just kick back, have a chuckle and listen to some REAL music, right? The music of today cannot even compare to the greatness of the 80's! Agree?
Enjoy the tunes. I would love to hear of some of your favorites growing up that I might have missed on here. I will try to add them. Also, any stories you would like to share would be most welcome and entertaining! We must stick together! Gen X! Gen X! (chanting...arm in the air, fist and all) Love to you all!
(Okay, I might allow the late 20's youngsters to get in on this honor, although you really don't fully understand!!!)

Tina,
I'm a few weeks too late for your '80s list but I am one of those 40 something people.I just turned 41 on July 2nd. In my real wild early 80s Jr high days ac/dc and Pink Floyd were on the top of my list. Of course, there was Journey, REO Speedwagon, and in highschool Micheal Jackson. I think I was always a few years behind everyone with music.
By the way I love your highschool pictures on the side bar.
Enjoy your summer,
Tina
