I am SO excited about the Father/Daughter Purity Ball tonight sponsored by Alpha Alternative Pregnancy Care Center, where I volunteer one day a week. I am working the registration table tonight, secretly so I can see the daddies and girls coming in together. I would be very unwise to wear mascara to such an event as this, as I just know I will be a fountain of tears tonight!
Please pray for the Lord's presence to just saturate every man and his daughter(s) that come through that door. I even heard there was one father planning to rent a limo to bring his daughter to the event...and he is wearing a TUX! What memories he is making for this precious daughter! It brings me to tears just thinking of it.
It is so awesome to know that our Heavenly Father views all of His daughters in such a special way! You may have never experienced the unconditional love of an earthly father. Maybe he was emotionally unavailable to you or detached. Maybe he passed away while you were young. Maybe he was tormented in his mind and abusive toward you. But I pray your True Father God brings you a divine revelation today of His jealous and passionate love for YOU, His daughter. He wants to wine and dine you in His glorious presence today, if you will allow Him to. I pray you receive a glimpse of just how special you are in His eyes. He truly delights in you and longs to twirl you around in His loving and strong arms.
